This is the second time we have stayed at the property. The layout of the house is perfect for our needs. It is conveniently located to get to area attractions and Waynesville and Maggie Valley. The first time we stayed was great. This time was the property is looking a little tired. The queen bed in the basement is in serious need of replacement as is the one in the main floor bedroom. We brought it to the property managers attention and was initially told it would be taken care of. They had us strip the bed and bed cover and take a picture of the manufacturer tag to determine the date it was made. The tag was blank with no date but they refused to do anything about it claiming the bed was less than a year old. Interesting that we stayed there a year ago exactly and it was the same mattress then and my daughter and son in law had the same complaint then. ( I looked the mattress up on Amazon and it is a 225 mattress) The hot tub was filthy. I called the manager and they did send someone out immediately to look at it. And clean the filter. They claimed that the water had just been changed prior to our stay. Iâve added photos of the hot tub and the mattress. The carpets also need cleaning as well as the kitchen faucet is loose. These were pointed out to the maintenance person when he came out to look at the hot tub. It is a shame that the maintenance of the property has not been kept up. We have really enjoyed the house and again it is perfect for our families needs.
