« The cottage we stayed in was very nice and loads of space . An ideal location for trail running and long dog walks Threlkeld and keswick were not far away. Loved the doggy treats that were left out. Our only complaint would be that the tv in the lounge had no freeview channels . Had to mirror with my phone. The log burner was lovely and comforting. « The lords seat was a lovely place to stay, very comfortable and clean. Great location with amazing views. Nice to have the extras like the dvds and games. The only disappointing thing was the water going off (ironic in the lake district) but obviously not your fault. The only thing that would have helped is instructions on a couple of things. « Easy to book a last minute getaway over the phone. Shortly after payment we received an email confirming the booking and providing full details of the property, key safe number, location etc. The property is very spacious, well-equipped, comfortable and quiet. Parking space in Keswick a great bonus, and location is very central, just a couple of minutes walk away from the centre of town. « We spent Halloween 2024 at Whitehall Pele tower to celebrate our paranormal teams (S.P.I.R.I.T UK-Solway Paranormal) 10th anniversary. Every year we spend our anniversary night in an historically rich location and Whitehall, with its history and its mention in several local legends was perfect. Very spacious, modern, yet still holding onto its old world atmosphere. Its just a shame we only stayed for the one night as it would take several to take in everything this beautiful place has to offer....
