This resort has a beautiful lobby area, lots of bars, friendly staff, great food and drinks, gorgeous beach. The grounds are very new and need time to grow.The rooms feel very slapped together, there was plaster and paint splatters all over, construction writing still on tiles, construction debris in the corners.we were here 1 week after grand opening and our room already had substantial water damage due to previous flooding in the shower. The room was very damp, and we ran the ac on high all week to try to alleviate this, but my clothes still ended up smelling musty. They need time to sort things out and train staff properly, wait times for food at the restaurants were substantial and our order was wrong quite a few times.. although they always corrected it and food was tasty;)
Check in wasn’t seamless.. but we did arrive earlier than stated check in time after flying on the red eye, so we were pretty jet lagged.They told us they’d inform us when our room was ready, and that we would have a 2 queen room as I was travelling with my mom. They sent a message on WhatsApp saying our request was accepted.When we finally got our room at 4pm it had 1 king bed.. we were so ready to sleep we just took it after being told how long it would be to switch rooms.
Entertainment crew is very new.. and seem disorganized.. it’s we quiet and pretty boring here during the day. Pool was a ghost town and very cold, weird configuration, no real main pool area. Shows at night are hit and miss.
