« We had a great two night stay at the Wonderland Retreat. Host was great with communication. If you’re looking for something rustic and in nature, this is a great spot in the Topanga Mountains. The mountain town has a few great hidden gems for restaurants and coffee shops. Easy to also get to the sights of LA and still be tucked away. »

« Overall, the view was amazing. Right in front of the Hollywood Sign. It’s close to everything and very peaceful neighborhood. The house had enough room plus more if needed. They had bathroom amenities provided like soap, body wash and etc. Nice kitchen with a view. We were out more but you could easily just stay in. Great house. Host and their assistant were great at responding to a few questions when we arrived. Pool table is a nice touch. Only thing is one of the bedrooms on bottom level...

"This place is just amazing nice. Our room was the Malibu suite. Really spacious, amazing sea view. The staff was really friendly and helpful. Only hic no kids choices for breakfast. The restaurant gave an amazing panoramic view! "

"It was a good choice for a single night close to the airport. Here are a few more specific comments. PROS - Cleanliness, both the rooms and in general - Friendly and efficient staff - Good value for money (great price to be so close to the airport) CONS - The hallway (at least on 3rd floor) had a strong musty smell (luckily it didn’t carry in the room) - Airport shuttle - we chose that hotel because it offered a free airport shuttle that started at 5am which was exactly what we needed BUT when we showed up at 4:55, we were told they were already full and the next one wouldn’t be until 6am. And when I asked the night before, upon checking in, there was no way to reserve seats on that shuttle and they didn’t specify to get there extra early because it happened to be full sometimes (and they had a second vehicle but they weren’t using it). So we were stuck having to call Lyft or Uber to get to the airport, spending more money. That part was a big disappointment."
