« Overall we had a nice stay. Tiny house was cute and good value. Very close to Volcanoes national park which allowed us to see an eruption!! Electricity and wifi was unreliable, communication was sub par, and it was quite off the beaten path, but these were minor inconveniences that we took in stride. »

There are two stools, a coffee maker, a small fridge, and a Queen-sized bed on a platform. The mattress was very comfortable. It might be a bit challenging for older guests to get on the bed. « Dawn has a lovely property within reasonable driving distance to Hilo, Volcano National Park, and beaches. If you read the description of the property and the reviews, you will not be surprised. Everything you need is there and you get a chance to interact with nature and fellow travelers. For a reasonably priced place to stay in the area, this property checks all the boxes. »

« We enjoyed Kamaka cabin…the spacious second floor and the loft. The games were very much appreciated… especially since it rained day and night . My only concern the outside light near the stairs going up to the second floor , does not light up. Making it hard to see at night in the dark…we had to use our phones for light . »

« Christine is very communicative and this is a one of a kind property! The cats ate the best and the thoughtfulness of the design is top notch. We loved all of the ideas about where to go and what to do as well. We had to work a little to figure out how to cool down the rooms quickly but that was more us than the property :).
