« We were in town for the weekend and this was the perfect place to stay. It is close to town and the Bayfront, but set apart so you can return to a relaxing place to rest. At night the Coqui Frogs are singing, and I loved it listening to them all, but in your room, it isn’t as noticeable as outside. The instructions for check in are very easy to follow with photos. « Hannah was GREAT! She gave us great information about check in, where to park, everything we needed. The place was super clean. We stayed at 5 different location while we were in Hawaii, and this was our favorite by far. Place was exactly what was described. If you don’t mind the sounds of nature, and a Great outside bathroom, which we loved, this is the place to stay in the Hilo area. « 6 of us…three couples all over 65. We came to Hilo for the Merrie Monarch Festival Everything as described. Incredible setting. Beautiful home. Huge kitchen, large outdoor pavilion. One minor inconvenience…We had some issues with water pressure the first night when we went to take showers. We called property manager first thing next morning and WOW…she was on it. « We are not resortish people and this was a great alternative. everything we needed was in walking distance or short drive. Nights were peaceful and we enjoyed the privacy of the pool and hot tub. The odd plane flying over when the winds were rarely in that direction was actually quite a site rather than annoyance. Jomo looked after a couple of requests immediately. Thanks for a great stay. »

« The house was a roomy older house, conveniently located 5 minutes from downtown Hilo. Overall, the house was terrific. The only drawback was the shower stall and showerhead. The shower flow was insufficient. A hand-held shower head would be better! »
