« Room was kinda cool, and it was clean. Felt like a house flipper recently touched it.
But there was no desk, table to eat at, or a dresser.
The heavy curtains were installed on an extendable rod with curtain clips that came undone when I tried to open them (and I was careful).
The view was roof level anyway.
All this along with shared kureg with no tea pods, shared brita ina shared fridge, with no reverse osmosis filter installation in the shared sink (on my floor at least) made it feel like...

« Disheartening experience. I rarely leave reviews, good or bad. If I take the time to write one, it means the experience was either exceptional or extremely disappointing. Unfortunately, this stay fell into the latter category.
Upon arrival at SpringHill Suites in Birmingham, Alabama, we immediately noticed cleanliness issues. There was a used panty liner in the trash can in our room, which was very unsettling. The welcome screen on the television was still displaying another guest’s name, which...

« This is the perfect place to stay if you or anyone in your family is having surgery or any kind of stay in the UAB Hospital. It’s joined to the hospital and uses the hospital parking deck for your overnight stay. We didn’t eat at the Bistro located inside the hotel but is a convenient place for a quick bite. There’s plenty of places to eat after you go up to the 2nd flour and walk over the skywalk to the inside of the hospital .
Beds were good and it’s a very clean hotel. Enjoyed our stay. »

« I stay at the Hotel Indigo in Five Points often and it's always a pleasant experience. The staff is helpful, the rooms are clean and cozy, and the area has a lot to offer. The only negative from this trip was that none of the ice makers on any of the floors were working, so I had to get ice from the bar. After jumping multiple floors (the elevator automatically returns to the lobby once you exit), what should've been a quick errand turned into 15 minutes just to get ice. It didn't deter my trip...

« Carpet in our room needed to be cleaned as there were big stains. Carpet in hallways also looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed in a while. Tiles/flooring in elevators were severely cracked and needed to be replaced. Also upon arrival, entering the lobby to check in, it was very warm. You could tell there was no air conditioning in that area, perhaps it was broken or hotel trying to save money but temp levels were warmer than outdoors »
