Faucet water carried a pungent odor when we first arrived due to high mineral content, but dissipated after use. Septic system was functional. Great internet access given location. Was able to reach Ithaca in about an hour, the Syracuse State Fairgrounds in about an hour and a half. Convenient access to three wineries in a half hour’s drive and a brewpub. Quiet space in a neighborhood of friendly people. »

« Kishan is a courteous responsive host. Booking was confirmed promptly and message replies were timely. This is a cute cottage conveniently located near Long Point State Park (walking distance) and The Inns of Aurora (short drive to restaurant / spa). Also close to King Ferry Corner Store, a quaint shop for groceries / supplies / some local artisan items. Kitchen has dishes/cooking supplies necessary for meal prep and had a well-stocked pantry with cooking oil, spices, and some basic staples....

« This obviously well-loved home was a great place for our extended family to stay during Cornell graduation weekend. It’s about a 35 min drive to campus, but we loved having lots of space to ourselves, the beautiful lake view, the cozy screen porch to hang out on, the fire pit to gather around, and a well stocked kitchen to help us with our meals (pro tip — we ordered from Wegman’s catering menu so we didn’t have to cook dinners). « So well maintained and appointed. These people know exactly how to host renters. First of all, it is immaculate. It is so well decorated and comfortable. Appliances are functional and spotless. It is so tasteful. No junk and Knick knacks. They thought of everything including umbrellas by the doorway. The three season porch was a dream.
