The world famous Vallarta Botanical gardens is a short bus ride south. The buses come and go all day every 10 minutes, inexpensive and convenient. The town, bisected by the gorgeous river has small markets, pharmacies, coffee shops, restaurant and gift shops. Most anything you need is here.
