„Wir haben das Hotel als Ausgangspunkt für die Sehenswürdigkeiten genutzt. Man sollte sich das Grab von dem Autor James Fenimore Cooper, sowie dessen Statue anschauen. Darüber hinaus sind das Fenimore Art Museum und die Baseball Hall of Fame interessant. Letztere befindet sich hier, da der Nationalsport hier erfunden wurde. „Die Halle ist beeindruckend, das Zimmer war im Vergleich dazu "nur" durchschnittlich eingerichtet, beeindruckte aber durch die Größe (Eckzimmer, fünf Fenster). Insgesamt hat es uns sehr gut gefallen und wir werden gerne wieder hingehen, wenn wir mal wieder in diese Gegend kommen. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war sehr gut. Ach ja, und das Parken war gratis; da kriegt man anderswo auch gerne mal einen zweistelligen Betrag an "versteckten Zimmerkosten" zusätzlich auf die Rechnung.“
