« Quel magnifique endroit et que dire de Jen, une hôtesse incroyable! La maison est ancestrale avec une décoration charmante et de toute beauté. Jen est aux petits soins avec ses invités et s’assure que tout est à notre satisfaction. En ce qui a trait au petit déjeuner servi, un vrai délice! Nous recommandons fortement cet endroit, à proximité de tout! »

« This was the PERFECT spot to stay for a wine touring few days. Having the two restaurants with in walking distance was great and unexpected for the area. The dock access was perfect for the kids (not so close to the house that we need to be worried but not to far that it was a pain to get there). The house was really well equipped and the basement was a perfect sleeping spot for the kids. The porch was spacious and had a beautiful view. We would definitely if our travels ever brought...

« Great house, very clean. Kids hung out in the game room while we were on the back porch. Great backyard and fire pit. Good central location for checking out the area. Just one small issue. Passing trucks could be a bit loud at night from time to time if we had the windows open. »

« This house is even better than described. I have rented many homes that say they have a fully stocked kitchen, but Lone Retreat means it! Quality - and quantity - of everything you need to enjoy homemade meals during your stay. High-end appliances and coffeemakers, too. The beds are all comfortable; the linens and towels are good quality, too. The house is about 30 minutes from Ithaca and the last 10 minutes of the drive are on a gravel, single lane road that becomes steep at the driveway. The...

« What a beautiful house! We had a great time. Did not realize there was no central air. Borrowed my daughter's window unit to cool the living room area. And no fish in the pond. Otherwise we had an amazing time with family. Love the historical book. »

« Beautiful property with exquisite view of the lake and a large backyard to relax and play games. Host was easy to work with for any questions. House is unique - was fun to take walks and see other properties in the area as well. 10 of us stayed and there was plenty of room. Only negatives (small) were that the kitchen was not huge and cupboard/refrigerator space for food was limited. An additional half bath would also be great, as 2 full bathrooms for 10 people presented a few challenges at...
