„Waren drei Tage in Kyoto und sind sehr glücklich über die Hotelauswahl. Super zentral - alles zu Fuß in 20 min erreichbar. Direkt am 205er Bus + direkt an der wichtigsten Bahnlinie. Hotelpersonal super nett, Zimmer top! Etwas hellhörig ist das Hotel schon, aber nach 25k Schritten am Tag fällt man eh nur ins Bett und schläft direkt. Super sind sind auch die Waschtrockner. Würde das Hotel wieder buchen!“

„Comfortable, well-located house in a quiet residential alley. The house was quite cold when I arrived, and it took some time to heat up. The place doesn’t get much sunlight. Cool to stay in a machiya. Stairs are narrow and more like a ladder, but easily navigable for younger and smaller bodies. For the price there are more comfortable and equally well situated places around. “

"Gutes Hotel, tolles Frühstück und man verlässt nichtmal den Bahnhof. Zum Shinkansen-Gate sind es keine 20 Meter. Gepäck kann man am Tag des Auscheckens auch noch umsonst verwahren lassen, was den letzten Tag in Kagoshima nochmal besonders entspannt macht."

"We loved the Thousand Kyoto hotel. The room was big clean and well designed. It is close to the main train station. Before our arrival we contacted the hotel for taking a reservation for us at a restaurant. Everything worked perfectly. Thanks to the excellent concierge service. We also had breakfast included. The hotel offers a variety of different options at the buffet. Further they have a small menu card to order from. In total “The thousand Kyoto” is one of the best examples of Japanese excellence and hospitality. We would book it any time again. "

"Sehr sauberes Hotel, sehr saubere Zimmer. Sehr engagiertes und sehr freundliches Personal. Der kostenlose Transfer vom Bahnhof zum Hotel, bzw. Vom Hotel zum Bahnhof ist perfekt wenn man mit Koffern reist. Das Doppelbettzimmer mit Tatami war genial. Ansonsten ca 500m Fußweg von der Kyoto station weg, eine Aeon Mall zum Shoppen mit Supermarkt drin sind etwa 300m weit weg."
