Buyer beware! We booked one stay. The place was wonderful and the staff at the location were wonderful. The people that actually own it were a little rude, but we like the place and the people there so much we booked another stay for a few days later. That was the most ridiculously horrible mistake! We made the reservation and paid for it. When we got to the property, the staff on location, said the apartment was not available. It had been rented to someone else. I said no problem, believing I would get my money back. I messaged the owner repeatedly. The first day that I messaged, they did respond two times- one time to blame me for booking through Expedia and the second text they asked for proof of my booking but even after I sent it, they wouldn’t respond. I booked the first stay through Expedia and they never told me another way to book it, or that they preferred for me to book another way. If they have a problem with people booking through Expedia, why are they doing business with Expedia?
