Service staff were wonderful. They were warm and kind.
Check in was awful. We reserved connecting rooms for our family through the resorts website AS WELL AS by email. Upon arrival, we were told that they couldn’t accommodate us and that our rooms were on different floors. We were informed that room requests are only accommodated when available. This is confusing because we made these requests months in advance. The check in staff was dismissive and arrogant. They did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to make this right and offered no avenue to remedy the situation. It set a very sour tone and a terrible first impression of the resort.
The food was decent. Standard for an all inclusive. Buffet was repetitive and a bit boring. The food was rarely hot. It’s very hard to get reservations at the restaurants.
You have to get up and get your chairs around the pool or beach before 7:00 am or you’re out of luck.
