„Great property for our short getaway! Had everything we needed! Centrally located to some of our favorite spots. Paved walkway right across the street from the house was great for daily walks. Beautiful sound views nearby. Bed was comfy. Clean space. Very soundproof so barely heard any outside noise. Nice shower! Plenty of towels and washcloths and other necessities. Host was super quick responding to messages and had clear instructions and helpful tips. We’ll be back! “

„Arrived for the visit on a motorcycle on a misty day a couple hours early while waiting for my family to check the location. The homeowner was there finishing the clean and she allowed me to park my bike in the carport and have the property early.property has a nice sitting both inside and out. Only downside to the property is that the bedrooms do not have access directly to common area. back bedroom access is either through front bedroom or bath.“

„Four of us (two adults and two grown kids) stayed for five nights over the holiday weekend. The location of this property right on the Duck/Southern Shores boundary was just great. Sunset views of the bay were great and the ocean was a short walk or drive away. The property was very clean. We are used to renting homes that are a little more lived in, so the lack of games and puzzles (and basic cooking necessities like salt and pepper) threw us a bit. „Check in and out was easy. The host was responsive and communicative. The location was very convenient for groceries and a very short drive to the beach or Wright Brothers memorial. Our kids were too small to walk or ride the bikes, but it is close enough for that.“

„We were so lucky to find Sound Serenity when our previously scheduled home was canceled a week & a half before our trip. Even though we weren’t right on the beach, the home was an easy 12 minute walk to the beach for sunrise and 5 minute walk to the sound for sunset. The home was beautifully decorated and very clean. „Beautifully furnished immaculate home with easy beach access. Centrally located near stores and restaurants. Loved the decks and deck furniture - fun evening on the deck feeling like we were “ in the trees.” A lot of love went into this place. Lots of nice “extras”: a keurig with coffee pods, tea bags and tea kettle, books and games , beach towels to name a few. Although there is no beach view, you still feel like you are on the beach. Highly recommended!“
